Varanasi, also known as Kashi or Banaras, is one of the oldest cities in India. It is situated on the banks of the River Ganga and is famous for its ghats, temples, and spiritual atmosphere. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the evening Ganga Aarti are major attractions. People believe that visiting Varanasi helps them attain peace and spiritual merit.
Prayagraj, formerly known as Allahabad, is another important city located about 130 km from Varanasi. It is famous for the Triveni Sangam, where the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati meet. Pilgrims visit the Sangam to take a holy dip, especially during the Kumbh Mela. Prayagraj also has historical sites like Anand Bhavan and Allahabad Fort.
Both Varanasi and Prayagraj are centers of culture, religion, and history. A visit to these cities provides a memorable experience of India’s spiritual and cultural heritage.

Itinerary
Arrive in Varanasi and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some time to relax, proceed in the evening to the river ghats. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on the holy River Ganges, witnessing the vibrant life along the ghats and the timeless rituals performed on its banks. Later, attend the spectacular Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat, a spiritual ceremony with lamps, chants, and devotional music. After the ceremony, return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
Early morning, proceed for sacred temple darshan in Varanasi, visiting Kashi Vishwanath Temple, Annapurna Mandir, and Kala Bhairav Mandir. Continue your spiritual tour with visits to Sankat Mochan Mandir, Durga Mandir, and Tulsi Manas Mandir, followed by a drive past Banaras Hindu University (BHU), one of Asia’s largest and most prestigious universities.
After breakfast, proceed to Sarnath, the holy place where Lord Gautam Buddha delivered his first sermon to his five disciples after attaining enlightenment. Enjoy sightseeing in Sarnath, including the Sarnath Museum (where the original Lion Capital of Ashoka, India’s National Emblem, is displayed), ancient Buddhist ruins, and the Mahabodhi Society Temple.
The evening is free for leisure or personal activities. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay in Varanasi.
The journey from Varanasi to Prayagraj is a well-planned and meaningful travel experience. After completing the stay in Varanasi, travelers check out from the hotel early in the morning.
After check-out, the transfer to Prayagraj begins by road. The distance between the two cities is around 130 kilometers, and the journey takes approximately two to three hours. The route offers pleasant views of villages, fields, and small towns of Uttar Pradesh, making the travel comfortable and enjoyable.
Upon arrival in Prayagraj, travelers proceed to their hotel or directly begin sightseeing. The main highlight of the visit is the Triveni Sangam, the sacred meeting point of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. A boat ride to the Sangam point(on own) and observing religious rituals provide a calm and spiritual experience.
After visiting the Sangam, the tour continues to the Allahabad Fort, built by Emperor Akbar, which reflects the city’s rich Mughal history. The next stop is Anand Bhavan, the ancestral home of the Nehru family, which showcases India’s freedom struggle through photographs and exhibits.
The Hanuman Temple, also known as the Bade Hanuman Ji Temple, is located near the Triveni Sangam. It is unique because the idol of Lord Hanuman is in a reclining position. Devotees believe that visiting this temple fulfills wishes and provides protection from troubles.
The Alopi Devi Temple is one of the most sacred Shakti Peethas in Prayagraj. Unlike other temples, there is no idol in this temple. Instead, worship is offered to a wooden cradle, symbolizing Goddess Alopi. The temple holds great importance, especially during festivals like Navratri.
In conclusion, a visit to the Hanuman Temple and Alopi Devi Temple offers a deep spiritual experience. These temples reflect the religious faith and cultural traditions of Prayagraj.

- In Bodhgaya vehicle will not go up to Mahabodhi temple, client have to take rickshaw/battery rickshaw on direct payment basis.
